Our client seeks someone to generate revenue and maintain standard of excellence through delivery of classroom training and courseware development for all appropriate areas of their portfolio.
Main responsibilities -
To generate revenue by undertaking lecturing, consulting and other chargeable work activities as appropriate. To achieve required quality targets as set by Company and determined by delegate evaluations. To maintain portfolio of high quality courses by taking technical responsibility for agreed courses. To maintain up-to date and flexible skills base through personal development and accreditation activities. To complete professional certifications as appropriate. To support internal departments with technical advice and support on ad hoc basis as required.
Candidate Requirements - Essential:
To be certified as - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP); Database Administrator (9i); Ability to train full range of Oracle Database Administrator Courses (9i) as appropriate; Excellent customer facing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to share expertise with others; Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and cope with stressful situations; Passion for IT and acquiring new skills and experience; Willingness to work in different locations throughout UK and from time to time assignments worldwide; Ability to attend specialist conferences and seminars acting for and on behalf of company; Commercial application of IT expertise in real world; Ability to work independently and within timescales dictated by training schedules.
Candidate Requirements - Desirable:
Knowledge of SQL*PL*SQL and potential to train as secondary area of knowledge; Experience of Courseware Development within Training environment; Excellent team worker; Willing to receive instructions; Honest and open.
